Today's post will feature my Current Favorite Hair Products. I've been trying out quite a few different hair products in all categories. I'm actually quite picky when it comes to hair products. These are the select few that have passed the 2nd or 3rd trial...
Ojon Color Sustain Color Revealing Conditioner
Aussie Catch The Wave Mousse + Leave-in Conditioner
Head & Shoulders Damage Rescue Shampoo and Conditioner
Aveeno Pure Renewal Dry Shampoo
Healthy Sexy Hair Soy Tri-Wheat Leave In Conditioner
Ojon Color Sustain Color Revealing Conditioner...I got this deluxe sample in a free gift with purchase bag from beauty.com (one of my favorite sites to shop on btw) and was really impressed. It's not heavy or too thick on my hair, and it doesn't leave my hair feeling greasy like some conditioners do. Another huge plus of this conditioner is the smell. I absolutely love it! If you are familiar with Origins Ginger Souffle, this reminds me of that. I'd be curious to try the shampoo and other products from this line. Previously, I have only tried Ojon's dry shampoo (not bad but odd smell).
Aussie Catch The Wave Mousse + Leave-in Conditioner...This has long been a favorite of mine. This mousse beats out any other mousse I have ever used. I like the fluffy whipped texture of this, and the built in leave in conditioner. This mousse is not sticky at all and it's also not heavy. It does give my all one length hair some volume too. It's affordable and easy to find...a must try if you don't want a lot of product in your hair like me. I'm not a big styling product girl at all when it comes to blowdrying. The less the better. BTW I wrote a detailed rave review on this product back in the summer. Review here >>>
Head & Shoulders Damage Rescue Shampoo and Conditioner...If you would have asked me months ago if I thought Head & Shoulders would be a favorite Shampoo & Conditioner, I would have said no way. I don't know why, but I never was willing to give this line a chance. I figured I didn't have an issue with dandruff so why bother. Then when winter started I started getting a really dry scalp (especially at my hairline). I literally tried everything to help it. My Mom gave me a bottle of the shampoo and I figured why not give it a try. Um it's great...and it works! It smells great, lathers so well and best of all it totally helped my dry scalp. It rinses so clean and IS color safe too. I liked the shampoo so much that I went out and got the conditioner too. They are a great deal at about $5 each. I'm really happy I ended up giving this brand a chance! I was too quick in writing them off.
Aveeno Pure Renewal Dry Shampoo...I never really understood the dry shampoo craze, but for some reason I have tried so many from different lines. To name a few: Bed Head, Suave, Ojon, Tresemme, Psssst, etc and none have really wow'ed me. Most didn't do much and I wasn't a fan of the scents. I saw the Aveeno one at Ulta and decided to give it a go since I like Aveeno skincare. So does it work? It's pretty good...it's for sure the best I've tried. It smells really fresh and doesn't have that cheap perfume smell. It also adds some volume on clean hair and helps hide 2nd day hair grease. Make sure to spray 8-10inches away from your hair as if you go too close it will leave a white powdery look. This is a true of ALL dry shampoos...I learned from trial and error. Of course, I rather just wash my hair than use a dry shampoo to mask it, but some days we just don't have the time. I'd say give this a shot if you want to try one
Healthy Sexy Hair Soy Tri-Wheat Leave In Conditioner...This is a product I purchased solely because one of my favorite YouTubers, Amarixe, said it was her favorite. I found this back around Christmas at Ulta for $2 (mini size) and wanted to try it. My hair gets so tangly when I get out of the shower and I also have really long hair so it needs TLC. This stuff is serious. It combs out my mane so well and also makes it actually feel healthy. It could be the clever marketing, but it honestly does feel and look better. To further attest to that, I stopped using this a few times and I noticed a difference in my hair. It wasn't quite as manageable and just felt dried out. I started using it again and bam it was back to looking & feeling good. It's not a miracle, but my hair has been loving this stuff. It's one of those products that deserves the hype for sure.

I totally thought the same about Head and Shoulders and I tried the Green Apple version and it made my hair smell amazing and definitely improved the condition.
